  • How to Prepare:

    • Make the sugar syrup. Use 4 cups water; 3 cup sugar; Saffron (optional) and 1 tsp cardamom powder.
    • In a large bowl, combine Besan flour, baking soda, and milk to form a paste.
    • Heat the ghee in a pan. Deep fry all the above paste to make Boondis till it colours. Use tissue paper to remove excess grease.
    • Transfer Boondis to sugar syrup.
    • Allow to cool slightly and shape those into small or medium laddoos.

2. Imarti:

  • Ingredients (8 Imarti):

    • 1 ¼ cup sugar
    • 1 ¼ cup ghee
    • ½ cup urad dal
    • 2 tsp corn flour
    • Food colour (optional)
  • How to Prepare:

    • Make the sugar syrup. Use 1 ¼ cup sugar; 2 strand Saffron; ¼ tsp cardamom powder; water and food colour.
    • In a large bowl, mix urad dal and fresh water.
    • Allow the urad dal to soak for 3-4 hours till it turns soft.
    • Combine soaked urad dal, water, corn flour, and food colour in blender and make paste.
    • Pour entire paste into a pastry bag.
    • Heat some ghee in a pan. Pour some paste ensuring the circular with floral petals.
    • Deep fry imarti till brown colour.
    • Transfer to sugar syrup for coating.

3. Gulab Jamun:

  • Ingredients:  

    • 1 ¼ cups Khoya, grated
    • ½ tsp Baking Soda
    • ½ cup Flour
    • 1 tsp Milk
  • How to Prepare:

    • Make the sugar syrup. Use 5 cup water; 2 cup sugar; ¼ tsp cardamom powder; ½ tsp saffron.
    • In a medium sized bowl, pour grated Khoya, add flour and baking soda. Mix well with a spoon.
    • Add some of the milk to make smooth and soft dough. Knead all those ingredients.
    • Divide the dough into equal parts and make smooth balls.
    • Heat some ghee in a pan and pour all the balls.
    • Deep fry till the balls are brown in colour.
    • Transfer to sugar syrup for coating.

4. Shakarpara Recipe:

  • Ingredients (1 kg):

    • ½ kg Flour
    • 1 kg Ghee
  • How to Prepare:
    • Make sugar syrup with ½ kg sugar and 1 cup water.
    • Combine flour and ghee in a large sized bowl. Add lukewarm water. Knead to form dough.
    • Divide the above dough into four equal parts.
    • Roll one part of the dough into a flat circle. Cut into shape with a knife.
    • On medium flame, heat some ghee in a pan.
    • Fry shakarpara till it turns brown.
    • Transfer to sugar syrup for coating.

5. Moong Dal Halwa:

  • Ingredients (3 Bowls):
    • 250 g Moong Dal Paste
    • 300g Sugar
    • 1 cup Milk
    • 100g Mawa
    • 250g Ghee
    • 10 Almond
    • 10 Cashew nuts
    • Food Colour (Optional)
  • How to Prepare:
    • Pour the ghee into a pan and place it on medium flame for 2 minutes.
    • Add Moong dal paste to the heated ghee.
    • Continue stirring on medium flame for 30 minutes till the mixture turns brown.
    • Add Mawa and mix well for 2 minutes.
    • Add some milk and sugar. Cook on medium flame for 2 minutes.
