Two recent high school graduates from Bradenton were killed in a tragic accident while exploring Peru on Saturday, according to Southeast High School.
Albert Ales and Zachary Morris, both 18, died Friday after their motorbike collided with a bus. They were on their way to Saqsaywaman Archaeological Park in Cusco. The teens were rushed to the hospital where they later died.
The impact was so heavy that both Ales and Morris fell off from the motorbike onto the roadway.
The Firefighters did arrive at the accident spot and tried to stabilize Ales and Morris before transferring them to the Intensive Care Unit at Pardo Clinic in Peru.
The doctors, despite of all their attempts, failed to save the life of both the teenagers. They both died within a few hours as a result of their severe injuries.
The teenagers were on their way to Peru after they recently got graduated from the International Baccalaureate program, according to Southeast High School.
“We hold their family and friends in our thoughts and prayers during this incredibly tough time,” Southeast High School wrote on Facebook. “Class of 2019 and the Seminole family will forever keep you in our hearts.
