Celebrate Senior Health and Fitness Day with lots of free fitness sampler and fun

The Senior Center of Jackson Hole have partnered with Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation to produce the second annual Senior Health and Fitness Day , where you would experience one-stop shop to get all the senior health related things.

Circle on the calender folks as Wednesday is the day to celebrate Senior Health and Fitness day, and it’s a full day program, so clear your schedule.

The day starts at 9 a.m. with a water fitness class at the newly remodeled Recreation Center. Admission and class fees is waived for seniors!

Between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., Immunization clinic will be offered at the senior Center in partnership with Public Health to provide pneumonia vaccines and tetanus boosters. Those interested in receiving vaccinations should bring their vaccine records and insurance information.

All those people who are unsure of which class to choose can check out Wayne May park. Instructors from the senior Center will work fitness stations, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., where there will be camps like blood pressure checks, Medicare Assistance information, chair message, and electric bike demos and various other things.

The day will close with lunch at the Senior Center on Rocky Mountain Bank. Lots of fun and giveaways will be available. Those interested can call the Senior Center at 733-7300.
